Welcome to Sprinkle of Speech ("we," "us," or "our"). Sprinkle of Speech is a speech therapy app designed to support children's communication development. We are committed to protecting the privacy of children and their families.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our application and website located at sprinkleofspeech.app. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the app.

Child Profile Information. Parents may provide a child's first name or nickname and age range to personalize the experience. We do not require a child's full name, date of birth, or any government-issued identifier.

Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is handled and stored by Stripe. You may find their privacy notice at stripe.com/privacy.

Application Data. If you use our application(s), we also may collect the following information if you choose to provide us with access or permission:

• Push Notifications. We may request to send you push notifications regarding your account or certain features of the application(s). If you wish to opt out, you may turn them off in your device's settings.

All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age without verifiable parental consent.

We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 13 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. Accounts are created and managed by parents or guardians on behalf of their child. By creating an account, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child using the app and that you consent to our collection and use of information as described in this policy.

If we learn that personal information from users less than 13 years of age has been collected without parental consent, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.

No Sale of Children's Data: We will never sell, rent, or trade any personal information about children to third parties for commercial purposes.

Data Minimization: We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service. Children's activity data is used solely to personalize and improve the learning experience.

Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

California law requires us to let you know how we respond to web browser DNT signals. Because there currently is not an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring DNT signals, we do not respond to them at this time.

California "Shine The Light" Law

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year.
